P700 Club store back up light harness 2021 Pioneer 700

I ran 1 positive and 1 negative wire from my light to the 1 positive and 1 negative wire on the harness. Then plugged harness in to the to the female on the chassis above the passenger side rear tire. Light is not working. I am missing something here?

Check to make sure you didn't bend a pin when inserting it.

If no.
Then check the ACC fuse up front. 15a I think.

If the ACC fuse is good.
Check the cigarette lighter socket to see if it works.

If the fuse and cig work.
Then break out a test light for the backup wires.

Report back.

Gee, I have never done that. Ahem........
