So a crew ext. Cab that will be cool . Or ext cab crew what order you thinking.
I’d just throw megacab badges on it. Not 100% yet. Our truck gets beat down dirt roads not just a pavement princess, need to consider stress and reasonable feasibility first. It would be 18” longer then anything.
First thing first, gotta cab that was the hard part.. Will start looking for cross member, t-caseand a Dana 60 for the nose. It’s going 4x4 too. Slowly going to gather parts.

Now that's a project!!! This is going to be a build thread then, right? :)

That will be a nice rig for sure.

I just missed out on a late 60s? crew cab roller for dirt cheap a few months ago, saw it while I was on vacation. Had the streamline-shaped side windows, kinda ugly in a good way. Would have been a nice upgrade to the 98 quad cab.

Trip is almost over, truck did good. Only had a hundred bucks to make the trip so I was easy on it but most of the way was 70 on cruise. Pulling trailer and over 1/3 was cab on the trailer it did better then expected. Over 26mpg.

I can confirm the rear doors line up good with the club cab. Even latched. Cab looks totally straight forward other then roof angles being a little off and the twin layer roof splice take a min. Looks easy.

That sucker is gonna be cool when you're done!

Why have you ruled out dually? I would think given the length of that thing, dual rears would improve the looks..
I totally agree on the looks aspect! Love the megacab with duals.
I guess my deal is that I don’t really need them. It’s more tires to maintain, drive-thrus done, and a general pita in town. My commute to work no problem but parking pita. We fix so many waisted dually boxsides here it’s not funny. My biggest worries is the snow and dirt roads we drive. On place we go is 90 mile rt of dirt. I’m just positive the dual would have to slow down for ride and I don’t want to do that.
So only real positive for us is added stability with a big camper, there won’t be a camper on very much.
That’s why I had thread going on single vs.duals, to try to talk me into it. Looks are bad ass but I don’t think I want the negatives.
