P500 Custom 8 Ball Shift Knob

Made this over the weekend, real 8 Ball drilled and tapped. Initially tried and failed to thread shifter in situ after cutting off the flat part, but failed. Ended up welding a bolt onto it. Very cool to me, maybe you will dig it too 🙂

I switched mine out a couple yrs ago to a fist. Faced with the same dilemma I found one that had 3 heavy set screws to attach with.

Trigger shield worked out pretty good, had to make a few cuts to the part that wraps around the rollbar in back to fit the 520. Only had it on one beach ride so haven't given it the full send test yet but so far so good!
