I was cutting some trees for firewood this winter and dropped one on the roll cage. It wasn't a big tree but it is noticeably bent. Instead of paying a ton for the replacement parts I'm thinking about getting a custom cage made. Anyone done this? How much did it cost? Are there specs for the bolt on points?

Where are you located? Be alot easier to show ypu instead of on here.
You can either cut out bungs from your stock cage or buy/build them. I make mine but it takes me forever and a day. As for costs, depends if you use dom or not. If you want more info text me at 931-691-7359. I'm no professional or anything but always willing to help. Cages I've built in past have ranged from 700-1100 depending on what material and what you want added. 3 or 5 seater makes big difference also

My current cage I'm willing to part with very reasonably but no rear section. Bed and rear tube bumper also for sale.

I'm in upstate SC but willing to travel to save myself some money. The entire thing doesn't need replacing. The front section (11 in the diagram) took the most damage but the 90° bends in the middle (7 in the diagram) buckled a bit. Everything else seems fine.

Depending on what you're wanting, @knuckledeep could possibly lower it and cut out buckled part. Just spitballing here throwing out possible options. Personally i like options lol

Delton nice looking work. I have a couple of questions.

Are you making tail gates for other people? If so can you build a spare tire mount into it?

In building your bed were you able to figure out a way to eliminate the bed rattle? I have adjusted mine and used tubing on the "D" latches which works well for a while. But always requires readjust periodically.

Nice looking hewn log home

Oh yeah I fixed bed rattle for good lol. I added a spring loaded lower stop to it. Spring is pretty stiff so zero rattle lol.

McMaster/ Carr has vibration levelers that are 13/16” rubber with a 2-5/16” 3/8” or 1/2” bolt shaft. And they come in different weight ratings for the rubber. That should work I think.
