Does anyone know if you have to take your unit into the dealer after replacing your dash cluster to get your original mileage and maintenance to show back up on the new cluster

I am pretty certain that the mileage is only stored in the gauge itself, Im sure there is a way for them to program it if need be. That or just write down your old mileage and make sure to tell anyone that you are selling it to in the future.
