Delton take your doors off and make you a jig. Have the hinges screwed down on something like plywood and lay the door frame in between some blocks to hold it in position for you to weld. Should save you some time to.

Yeah that's what I'm gonna try to do. I held the first one with one hand and welded with the other. Amazingly enough I got it first time lol.

Roof is installed but I'm not 100% happy with it. Took me forever to get the rattles out. Currently held on with self taps. The front is fixed too. Think 18ga might've been too thin. But I'm gonna run it for now. It just isn't pretty no matter how you look at it.

Should have used that black duct tape! Now you got all the screws to take out when you go back to a convertible top. I could find you some 14 ga. stainless. Brush it up to a mirror finish.

Tell everyone you've rolled it 6 times lol. Foam tape to the roof where the bars are. Alloy and temper makes a big difference too. There is 3003, 5052 and 6061 aluminum.

You could use some black urethane mp-1 on the roll bars before you install the roof. Just let it dry 24 hours.

I used foam pipe insulation. The kind with the sticky side to it. Rattles are gone. Disgusted with the outcome is an understatement. It won't be there long. May use Honda roof for now til I figure out my next move.

What size is the roof? Can you make a template out of that one. I can get my Fab shop to cut, fold, cross break, etc. 16 ga. 4x10 stainless sheet is around $210.

5' just barely covers it at rear of rops. At the front I cut approx. 2.5" off each side. I ordered a 5x10' sheet and had enough left over from the 10' to make another front roof. I'd be happy with a 5x7' sheet. I got plenty of tools to cut it myself. Can you get a price on that sheet for me?

I like the Honda roof but it adds height to my rig which defeats the purpose of chopping it. Plus I busted my arse on that cage and wouldn't mind having it exposed. Personal pride thing I guess.
Can't really afford another sheet of metal but can't afford to not have it either.
