Today was one of those that doesn't show alot of progress even though there was. Got spare mount attached to bed extender and got her welded up and painted.

Could use a tad more room from my tailgate cable mounts so I made new ones that are 1/2" wider.

New roof version 2.0. I'll try and not screw this one up.

Hoping and praying I can remove cage as one whole piece. That would help like you wouldn't believe. Had to stop to go get kids. And that's where I am currently.

Success!!! Came off as one piece. Major game changer! Couldn't be happier. Gonna fab the roof sitting on the floor. Much easier access.

This is how new roof will be mounted. With m6 flange nuts and rubber or felt washers. And pipe insulation along the cage to eliminate squeaks.

Looks great. You might want to hurry up though, if you work five days a week that will leave you about 3-4 days off to get done, we are literally at crunch time for the take over. Lol

Like a raped ape!! She purrs like a kitten but is getting gone through thoroughly before takeover. Already have a new air filter. Also grabbed some synthetic diff fluid.

I'm only supposed to work 3 days a week but here lately it's been 50-60hrs a week. It's gonna work out though. I have a plan.

Yeah much thicker. 1/8".

For the first time in about 3 months, I can finally say I see the end of the tunnel. Got cage sitting in hay shed ready for some paint. Roof needs the cut edges smoothed down and front lip bent. Some pipe insulation between mounts, and she's ready for final assembly!!!

No paint booth or oven big enough for powder coating. Guess a hay shed will have to do. Happy with the results. One more coat this afternoon and it can cure til Sunday.

I meant to show off the badarse bungs a great friend made for me on the rear. They are double ended which means I can connect a tube bumper to them. The guy is a genius I tell ya.
