P1000 Delton's painfully slow build

Exactly what I thought too. Gotta admit I was blown away when I stood back and checked them out. By far my favorite work yet.

Crazy thing is that on top of looking good, they might even actually be functional!!!!!

Lookin good bud!

That wasn't all I painted either. Had a Fubar moment I guess lol. Muffler shield and exhaust tip fell victim to my spray can.

Same here. I've been running around with them unpainted for couple weeks now and guess I got used to them. But adding the red paint was the key.

Already been mulling it over lol. It'll have to be after takeover just not enough time. Was hoping to make some fronts but parts are scarce around here. Especially hinges. Can't use the normal type, too thin plus they have predrilled holes which annoys me lol. Tractor supply has the best ones. 1/8" thick, no holes and easy to weld. I may take the bike tomorrow and scout middle TN for some lol.

My roof should be ready for pickup tomorrow and I got 3 sticks of 1" tubing coming.

For anybody interested, Rustoleum's gloss cherry (or cherry gloss can't remember) is an almost perfect match to Honda red. It'd help if my plastics weren't so scratched lol.

You and CP serving up those steak and lobster dishes, I gotta throw in a burger and fries every now n then lol. Seriously though, I'm proud of them. Powder coating kit and an old oven are on my shopping list. Trail riding is gonna eat up that Rust-Oleum in no time lol

Simpleton designs? No. That would be throwing a lightbar and a winch on. You're far beyond that. I love watching what you're doing and the excitement when you're done. You have a passion for this and that's great to see. Keep up the innovations

Nothing for me other than picking up more tubing. Got another set of doors done. Learned a better way to make the latches. Smaller and simpler.
