If I leave it connected to the battery and not extend cables, will it drain battery faster?

So I finally strip everything down, in the instruction is says that O2 sensor should be mounted in 5 degree angle, on your pic it looks more 45 degree ? Not sure why they say 5 ?? does it really matter? Please elaborate on your thought process.
i just mounted it there because it was easiestSo , it will work ok mounted under any angle?

ill have to look next time i go for a ride and ill get back to youJak, one more observation when I start engine it turns greens, then i accelerate it goes into yellow blue or green blue, dont recall, I do not observe to be in yellow or red mode.
