Ok, is it just me or did Honda use very cheap hardware. Was planning to swap out oem with RB3 parts. Got two bolts broken loose an third stripped head. Ideas on getting out with buying specialty socket?

Not sure where the broken bolt is, how accessible it is? But you may have to grind, drill, and easy out it. Maybe some heat to soften up loctite.

I stripped the head of one of mine too. Honda torques them too much. I drilled the stripped head off, then the "stud" came out easily. I think i found a replacment bolt at home depot.

I used a 6 point socket with a ratchet to break mine lose then used a rechargeable impact to take them out and reinstall them.

Sometimes you can drive a 12 pt socket one size small onto a stripped bolt head with a hammer. It didnt work in my case but it might for you.

Wow, I am sorry to hear this. I know some people have been saying how the bolts are way overtightened or even that they got wet and had a hard time backing out. Did you completely round the corners?

You could also take a small file and try to refile some flats on the bolt and try to get a little smaller socket onto it. pb blast it maybe.
S l400 not sure if something like this would work either? I have never tried one personally

It not uncommon has happened to me at least 4 times on the doors, drill it or hammer a small socket on it. Certainly would help to use a penetrating oil of some sort as well.

One other way would be to cut into it to fit a big flat tip screw driver and impact it out. Just trying to help. Bolt extraction can become like surgery!
