I removed my seat back tonight along with the plastic piece and the rubber mats in preparation to install my cooling fans. As I was removing one of the push pins holding on the plastic engine cover piece, two washers fell out. Any idea why they were there?

The metal bracket added to support the rubber seat heat shield has 2 washers on the pins through the bracket and rubber. They are a pain to install

Oh great! I looked through the service manual and it doesn't mention them. Any idea if there totally necessary?

I'd try to put them back. The bracket won't stay on without

So does the bracket fall also? I'm not sure what exactly I'm looking for.

Between driver and middle seat. Look for a parts diagram. Seems like there are three plastic rivets that hold it in? I’ll look...

Awesome thanks! Does it go between the frame and the cover of the air box?
