P1000 Fire on Mary's Ridge / Dayton Mt

Word is some pinhead started a fire down in the cove that climbed up and started the ridge on fire. The local fire departments and the Forestry service are doing their best to contain it by digging fire breaks and trying to direct it to a point where they can get water on it. ... Last time I checked it was on the north property line coming slowly this way. A good thing may come out of this. When I was talking to the fella with the dozer making the fire break he asked if there was a way up onto the ridge from the mine rd. I showed him a spot that he could go up over. He would have to clear a fire break and knock some trees down. Now with a little clearing I will have a way up onto Mary's Ridge from the north end of the property! @Delton you need to load up and bring your saw....

It's 0130am here and C and I took a ride on the property. The fire break did it's job on our side but looking across the other ridge it's still burning and moving. Long line of fire from top of the ridge to the bottom... I hope there are no houses in it's path.
