The Copos and the Drag Paks I thought we’re pretty even already. I don’t think they needed another adjustment. And I think this will put the CJs either just behind or on top of the Dodges.

It’s a bummer that they are slowing the class back down. I guess I would have preferred to see them give breaks to try and bring the others up to the level of the CJs.

You have to remember though this is all on a 9 inch slick. I think the chassis's are good to 7:50's.

Yea. It’s amazing they can go that fast on those little tires! They are right on the edge of traction for the entire run.

And you’re right on the cage. They are SFI 25.5 spec - good to 7.5. And to 3600lbs max weight, so they are pretty close to the limits.

Congrats to Ron Capps winning Funny Car, glad that all the Force cars were knocked out early and to Leah,spinning ain't winning. The pulley change on the Factory Stock Showdown cars seems to have tightened them up yet again.

Well the NHRA has made yet another "parity" adjustment to the Factory Showdown Class. Still a big contingent to try and qualify at the next race.

Nhra is blind when it comes to parity. Just look at PS bikes. Make rules the same for all manufacturers. If you're getting beat, then you simply brought a knife to a gunfight.

It does seem as though they factored the HEMI out of competition years ago.

There are less Ford's than at the previous races. Less Drag Pak's too! The non-pro Drag pak's missed the last race, and don't appear on the list for this race either. I can only speculate as to why, but I won't.

Good luck to all. Awful lot of Chevy entree's. I wonder if they think they are at an advantage given the current rules. I'm disappointed in the lower Cobra Jet car count. But the heavy hitters are there (the winners of all of the previous 2019 NHRA and NMCA race's are there!) , so I'll keep my hopes up!

I hope the race is competitive!

Well Salinas beat Torrence in the finals.Even though I am not a fan of Tasca he beat Force in funny car. Leah goes out first round again after qualifying second. She bulbed the guy and then went up in smoke.

Looks the Mopars will be well represented at Norwalk. The 2 DSR cars and the 2 independents (Johnson and Welch) are all on the entry list.

This is the closest race to home for me. I’m planning to go on Sunday, assuming the weather looks ok.

It doesn't look like the parity adjustments have helped the Dodges,looks like it did help the Chevys though. Hope you have fun while at the races.
