Current dilemma is that I have 28” tires with a highlighter 2.5” lift and I want the lift gone so I ordered a set of QS3’s with the intention of removing the lift kit. Eventually I want to get forward arched a-arms but I need to recover from the hit I took on the shocks before dropping more $ on the arms. I often ride a total of 2 adults and 3 kids ranging from 160 lbs. to 60 lbs plus rifles, other gear and a dead deer or two so I can get pretty loaded down during hunting season.

With the 28” tires and the load, how should I go about setting up the preload on the shocks when I install them? Thanks

I think the proper term is spring sag, install new shocks, then jack it up until the shock shaft is fully extended, then let it down, roll it back and forth a foot or so, measure from the floor up to where ever, put simulated weight in it. 1.25 to 1.5 is a good starting point of height loss is good.

On the P1000-5, rear side net, there's a snap hook at the bottom of the triangle section that is just hanging there. Doesn't reach anything and doesn't look to be used to hold the net when rolled up. It just flaps around in the wind. Ok, this may be the dumbest question ever posted here (though I'm guessing that is perhaps and overstatement). What the heck is this hook for??

Be gentle in your response please, I'm too dang old to accept ridicule and rebuke kindly. Thank you! :)

The nets go the inside of the big metal grab handle looking thing. Once you put the nets on the correct side, the hook will reach a small metal tie down ring. I believe it's number 32 in this diagram.

Hang your dreams there, SpeedRacer. We all have things flapping in the wind . . .

Yes. And then don't flip the dump bed, because that will hang up on the hook.
Why, Grasshopper, why?

With an ever decreasing number of active brain cells, that's still not too much of a risk. Gotta fiddle around back there anyway to open the SuperATV back windshield, before raising the bed.
