Well they are about 300.00 more and I can get a set of Foxs for 1399.00 shipped from Arkansas/no tax and I really don't ride aggressively enough for all of the adjustments on the Elkas or Walker Evans. I just saw those fronts pretty cheap and was going to get them when they went down to 480.00 for the front but waited about 5 minutes too long.
I really think you could put some Monroe off road shocks on and would beat the crap out of the stockers, if they would fit!

3k is crazy to me. Is it $1300 worth of improvement, yeah. But I just can’t see how it’s that much better with a limited travel utility machine.
Ride with me, ride with me , ride with me, that's supposed to hypnotize you you! HA! NO more WHAM in the front and bobbles at a greater speed and comfort level! All levels of suspension travel should be the best! 10 inches isn't bad. I'm a suspension junkie! Wish the Elka's had low and high speed rebound adjustments.

has anyone done just the front fox shocks and kept the rear auto leveling factory shocks on? and what are the results? i need to keep the rear for load but front shocks really need an upgrade.
We just put the fronts on a month ago and there’s definitely a difference. Thinking really hard now about the rears. Notice the difference more at a little higher speed.

I thought the same thing for about a day lol. It’s hard to go just fronts after you feel the all around advantage. Foxes handle a load fine, just quick switch to hard on the dial.

After St. Helen I bought a jack. I seem to have tire issues when I ride with you guys. Lol.

Yep. Took out sidewall of one at Takeover and knocked one off the bead at St. Helen with @Remington @trigger and @PistonHonda. Didn’t have a jack either time. Do now.

I may not regret the beadlocks then had a grand in hole set up D30a06f8b3e6a73d962d0073e02006f0D5b11ef005f6d0a5b753868cb7a78a98

That doesn’t sound bad. Thought we’d wear these bighorns out then do the upgrade to bead locks. Many more weekends like the last and it won’t take long.
The Lt tires were $97 a pcs

If you have a winch you can always winch yourself up on a tree for the fronts or use a friend winch to tilt you over for the rears.. I have not tried using a snatch block to winch myself to the side to change a rear but that might work too..... but granted you need a friend with a winch or trees
