I've borrowed spanner wrenches. Don't know what size they are. I hated using them. I found that if you jack your buggy up and loosen the lock nut I can adjust by putting on a pair of gloves and turning the spring. Anti seize on the threads helps.

Spanner set

they take a 2.5 front and 3.0 rear. I bought both and this spanner set, which worked well.
And one of these
it also worked.
The Fox wrenches had the best repetitive fit, but stupid expensive.
I just clean up the threads, lubricate jack it up a little break the locking mechanism lose and spin the spring.

Good deal.
I did same on front and removal of oem rear spring.
My new 350# rear springs are too tough to hand tighten preload.
