P1000 Front fender well

I’m running 30x10x17 reptiles with a 2.5 inch high lifter bracket lift on a 1000-5. I’m rubbing at full left turn.

my question is, has anyone taken a heat gun and bent the plastic on the inner fender well to get it up out of the way? If so, any pictures would be appreciated!

Think a few have used a heat gun and a softball to push it in where it rubs.

Thanks Adam490. I’d like to see a picture or two to see how it looks in the cab side.
I’ve tried searching the forums, but haven’t had any luck finding any mention of it.

With 30s you're probably gonna need foward arched a-arms to eliminate the rubbing.

That’s what I’m trying to avoid. The wheels and tires came on it when I bought it...along with the stockers, which is what I have on it at the moment. I’m seriously considering selling these wheels and tires and buying 28” tires to run on my stock wheels. Wouldn’t be out any money then.

Hard to believe that thin ass plastic is all thats between u and a stick impaling u. I've been saying I'm gonna beef up mine but never have. Maybe this will get me motivated before its too late.
