Who out there has made or could make a bolt on front receiver hitch for there Pioneer 1000? I've looked and can't find one to purchase. Point me to a web site if you know of one. Need it for my portable winch.
Thanks

The KFI hitch looks like a good choice but I have not seen one in person. They have a decked out 1000-5 they use for advertising

Received the KFI front hitch receiver today it's pretty beefy, shipping box said 14 lbs. It's very well built with a heavy paint/powder coat finish. Install instructions are 4 illustrations with little verbage, was a snap to install no more than 30 min. you'll need a 14 & 12mm socket with a 6-8" long ratchet extension and one metric Allen wrench. $89.00 and free shipping. You have to remove the bumper and it attached to the bumper.

FYI. This front receiver not compatible with the large Honda Brushguard OEM bumper. Only the short standard bumper. I ordered one also but have the larger OEM bumper, does not fit. Darn. Good quality part though.

I talked with KFI about the front receiver, and they said they didn't know if it would work with my Warn 4000 winch. I imagine a little creative garage work could make it work, but I'm not sure I want the project. They have designed it for their own winches of course.

I would like to know if some finds a solution or work around.

Well that makes me nervous. I received my front kfi receiver today. Plans are to install it, their winch plate and a terra 45 at the same time after deer season. I have all parts in hand.

Tested the KFI Receiver on this day and it held up to the Warn ProVantage 4500 dragging the machine!

Drilled new holes in winch receiver mount to draw it closer to the front of machine.

Good thing that that rock was there to keep you from going all the way over!!!!!!
Sshhh...Don’t tell anyone but that rock may have played a role in finding myself in that predicament

Let us know how that installation goes. A front receiver makes so much sense, and I don't know why Honda doesn't have it as on option.

Will do. It will be a few weeks before I can get to the install.

I needed a front receiver for a tie down/recovery point and for a road feeder. This kfi product appears to be a good solution. It seems to be beefy.

DSCN0704 Installed the KFI front receiver for the Large OEM Brushguard and used it to winch fish house (on skids) onto a trailer. Ready to transport to the Lake. We have about 2" of ice so not ready to put it on the ice yet. Worked great. Removing the bumper for the install went good. Grab some help for putting the bumper back on though. I use a 6" drop on the hitch to hook onto the trailer. The winch is a 4500# pro-Vantage with Synthetic rope.
