found a boob tube on it, just download firmware, put on sd card, go to camera, upload from sd card with new firmware, power down, put original sd card in, go to next one......repeat

Good deal! Hope it works for ya!
If not, then something internally is wrong with the cam. If its under warranty and you call about it. Ill guarantee they will want you to have the most currant firmware before sending u out a new cam. Been down that road before. Sucks when you have to do the process twice. Good to have your ducks in a row.
