This was my first ever attempt at a fiberglass speaker enclosure. .it didn't come out quite like I had imagined it would but I've always been function over form. It does what it was intended for and sounds pretty good too.

Started off with some 3/4 plywood, cut out rings.

@GlockMeister that is very cool! What do you think about the location of the speakers concerning sound quality and imaging? I would like to make one with all speakers positioned and aimed toward the driver!

I think that it would look and sound fine, my thought was to have some behind my head too kinda like surround sound. I've got 2 more to go in back for passengers but that'll be later on.

Did some night riding last night and noticed with my light bar on it interferes with FM radio. Nothing but static, light bar off FM back. Any clues?
I know the t-8 fluorescent lights I have in my shop do the same thing , curious to why ?

I do know from coon hunting, putting a led on a Garmin will fry it over the course of about 6 months. Now I'm not talking about a $2 led light, in talking about a actual light. I always carry a halogen flashlight just to look at the Garmin when I can't here my dog. Sorry, doesn't really help, but I have noticed weird things with higher powered lights.

Great, now what kind of music are you going to be putting through your system? That will have a lot to do with the way it sounds. HA!
