Picking this one up tomorrow with the factory wheels and tires put back on. Not the white LE model i wanted but they are ordering the LE X2 shocks that i will swap out. The white one also comes with a roof and beadlocks which i would be swapping out anyways so saved some money and will have the factory RC2 shocks to do something with or sell. I might wrap or paint it also to the yamaha blue. Factory tires are 29" Bighorn 8 plys. Might put the stickys on this and try the bighorns on the pioneer after i abuse the bighorns a little lol. Cage bungs are ordered and a 4500 Axon winch. Still deciding on which skid plate and beadlocks.

That’s awesome Snuff, I’m sure you’ll like that. Really glad you went that way over the Canned Ham!
I may still be going that route myself as it’ll be less money and an already very proven platform easily accepting of the many performance upgrades already available.
I’m sure with you having that in this group there will be some comparisons amongst people I trust so I look forward to that!

I'm unfamiliar with the differences between each YXZ, but does this one have the launch option? The launch option looks awesome and makes me think someone on the Yamaha team remembers what it is like to dump the "clutch" so to speak or drag racking....

Smooth and pretty quiet. Quieter than the pioneer with the hmf. Clutch fully engages at 4-5 mph. Very smooth clutch below that. It has a light that flashes to let you know when the clutch is slipping. Just ran 70 down the road and was like a race car. I dont have the better shocks on it yet but it feels pretty awesome, a whole different level than the pioneer with the elkas. Its fast but not quiet as strong as i thought it would be. Really likes to rev and feels like it wants to be at 8k+. Very smooth power though. I might be a little deceived though as i looked back and saw a 100' rooster tail behind me lol. I can definitely see a turbo in its future, maybe even sooner than later. Happy so far. Letting it cool down and will thrash it again for 15 min. A couple more times for break in.

I’ll bet no rattles or adjustments required. Gotta feeling it’s pretty solid
