Tonight I'm really hammering out the details. So far plan is to leave Sunday 3am.
First day will take us to Wall s.d. 751 miles. Stay at campground.
Day 2 Monday drive to Cody wy. If I can reserve a site tomorrow. Probably a popular place? @100Acre ? 435 mile run.
Tue. Cody to Butte Mt. 280 miles.
Wed. Butte to airstrip. 250miles + or -
I'm leaving a day in for what ever. Could stay somewhere 2 nights .
Wed. or Thurs- monday. Airstrip in Idaho
Monday- head home. This is tentative.

We need to start a stay over at our homes for members passing through. With or with out Rv's and yes @JTW that includes you! I think it would be fun to host some members!

Buffalo Bill Reservoir and State Park about 10-15 miles west of Cody. I'd also recommend the hot springs near Thermopolis. Wish you had time to check out the Wind River Range or the Charles M Russel museum near Great Falls Montana. No country or western music fan's life can be considered complete without having been to the museums in Cody and Great Falls. I know, not enough time...

Or for Dinosaurs among other great stuff the Museum of the Rockies at Montana state university in Bozeman. It holds one of the largest dinosaur collections in the world. Famed Paleontologist John Horner was a teacher there. I was employed as an archaeologist field tech back in 1995 and did a dig in the Lower Geyser Basin at Yellowstone. Old soldier fort that burned down in 1902. Last time I visited they had an exhibition of Napolean Bonaparte's personal belongings which was in itself quite a large collection including his golden leafy tiara when he served as emperor in France back in 17th-18th century.

I think if someone ever asks a crowd if there's history geek out there, I'll jumping up and down like Lisa Simpson begging- Pick me, pick me!
I Finally started planting today and got about 30 trees in the ground with only a few more- like 6-7 hundred more to go but I'm trying not to count. It's been challenging with the constant rain we've been getting and then snapped the shear pin on the auger and so got a late start today. Tomorrow I'm shooting for planting 50 trees. Go, go gadget tree planter!

For heavens sakes quit spending money!!!
Now my tools fit in my doors @joeymt33 I can ditch the toolbox and fit the pelican 70. Perfectly. Then added a 2nd honda 2000 to run parallel with the current on to run camper a.c. in any condition or elevation .

Can't take it with you for the final journey, You can resort to the song, I'm the only hell my mama ever raised, needed some money, learned how to get it fast, reached into the glove box and another liquor store went down, HA!

Have a safe trip! Going through South Dakota, take the blue lane HWY through the Bad Lands! I screwed up and stayed on the interstate and missed it!Nah more like make the trip as comfortable as possible. I did that last yr through a thunderstorm. Was beautiful. Close Lightning strikes all over. Glad I wasn't on the honda!
