@CumminsPusher figured you'd appreciate this. Guy came to shoot today with my buddy. Just finished restoring this old Chevy. I don't know much about them but this thing was clean. He got it from a junkyard in pieces originally like 20 years ago. Converted to EFI, big block, full digital dash. He's been working on this thing for probably 10 years

Good day at "work" today. Finally got the SOCOM back in action. Ran 40 or so hot rounds with 450gr bullets and will probably regret it in the morning; shoulder already starting to bruise 😂 . Some friends brought some of those mini-shell slugs that were pretty fun to shoot out of the 12ga.

I had a day at the range as well, sighting in an AR with 20' bull barrel and a Rock River 3.5 trigger. I just mounted a Nikon Prostaff P223 scope and needed to sight it in.

My oldest daughter sent me this, got the camping bug coming up with us I guess. Can’t wait to see them again. We always have a blast in the woods with them and now they have their own rig. Her husband bought a nice 6.7 Ford that he’s built up and going through. Nearly back road worthy sounds like so we will see them soon!

I don't know the exact elevation, but I'm 45 minutes south of Phoenix in the same basin. And yes... probably feels good up on the rim today.

I might try it at 104. Don't know. It's actually "only" 110 today, but there were like 4 days over 110, culminating in a 118 in Phoenix.

Being that it's monsoon season, there is a 10% chance of rain, so there is a touch of humidity on top of that.

They have t-shirts, and it's true that it often doesn't feel as hot as it sounds...but 116 is 116, dry or not.
