We were looking at into electric awhile back just a bit and talked to saw guru @joeymt33, he said go for it. He liked his. Wound up with Greenworks 80v because I was already buying the blower for Xmas for my wife. Got to say I much prefer the electric for a trail saw, by far more advantages. We do still have a couple big Huskys for the firewood at camp as we like big fires.
Like that blower and chainsaw enough that we just bought the 80v lawnmower as well and are very happy with that decision. Not exactly a “green” guy but they do work well for our applications.
That's good to know.
Back when we were in central AZ I could cut wood. Shaggy juniper cuts easy and splits easy (I've still never had a powered wood-splitter). It was just supplemental heat and an excuse to get out in the woods and sip some whiskey after, and not worth spending big money on a Stihl or Husky.
I had been told that the 50cc poulan pro was actually a husky built saw (and actually has stampings of the logo on the innards ). I got one and have no complaints, though it's mostly sat for the last few years. There is a chance we might bet back into juniper country In a few years.

Just got done for the day. These doors should’ve been replaced really. One more obligation out of the way.

Mixed some blackberry syrup I made into some sparkling water and it was good. It foamed up well on its own. What kind of alcohol would go well with blackberries? Blackberries Matter...GreenMen Matter Too...

This setup is in my driveway today. My son is desperately trying to get one of his projects done but been working long. 327 Nissan will be going soon. Looks like it’ll be daylight tonight. He can really piss me off but I respect his work ethic and love his style.

Well this sucked...

Lady pulled out in front of us while we were headed home from dinner last night. We were on a 55 mph highway, she ran a stop sign on a side street. Wife was driving and saw it out of the corner of her eye and had just enough time to turn the wheel so it wasn't a head on collision. Pretty sure our Forester is totaled  . We all walked away with very minor injuries, so the Subie did its job. Looks like the frame is pushed into the firewall. Only thing holding the wheel/hub on is the strut.

Lady hit us in a Kia Sorrento, it did not fare as well. She is 100% at fault, was cited at the scene, and her insurance company is trying to dick me around about determining liability. The lady that hit us isn't answering the phone calls from her insurance company either. She has Root, I'd never even heard of it. Pretty sure I'll end up having to go through my own State Farm insurance policy to get any sort of timely resolution to this.

I am no expert, but with all those deployed air bags, it is probably totaled. Glad y'all weren't injured badly!
