That's good to know.We were looking at into electric awhile back just a bit and talked to saw guru @joeymt33, he said go for it. He liked his. Wound up with Greenworks 80v because I was already buying the blower for Xmas for my wife. Got to say I much prefer the electric for a trail saw, by far more advantages. We do still have a couple big Huskys for the firewood at camp as we like big fires.
Like that blower and chainsaw enough that we just bought the 80v lawnmower as well and are very happy with that decision. Not exactly a “green” guy but they do work well for our applications.
Back when we were in central AZ I could cut wood. Shaggy juniper cuts easy and splits easy (I've still never had a powered wood-splitter). It was just supplemental heat and an excuse to get out in the woods and sip some whiskey after, and not worth spending big money on a Stihl or Husky.
I had been told that the 50cc poulan pro was actually a husky built saw (and actually has stampings of the logo on the innards ). I got one and have no complaints, though it's mostly sat for the last few years. There is a chance we might bet back into juniper country In a few years.
