It kinda sucks. When we moved back to AZ, it was down in the valley with Phoenix, and the 1st time since 2010 I've had to deal with valley heat. Last year it was hot, but there were breaks every few weeks. This year it's been solid all the way through. Brand new machine. Thousands of miles to ride. Just waiting on mother nature.

They hav

They have t-shirts, and it's true that it often doesn't feel as hot as it sounds...but 116 is 116, dry or not.
Yes 116 is hot. It's not bad here today, it's been overcast which helps keep the sun away. Like @CumminsPusher said, humidity is bad, a normal thing for Mississippi weather.

Be something to clear trails for you guys. If it gets crushed, so be it. Don't know that I need it. Illegal to cut saguaros.
Looked up the site and it has a low trust rating.
I wouldn’t think youd need that with cacti around. Are they much different to saw then a tree?

My wife has an electric Stihl chain saw and loves it. It was nowhere near that cheap though!

I dunno...it's illegal to f*** with them (the saguros, though probably not once they fall...but I don't know) and if they do fall most people just go around.

I just like chainsaws.

Not sure I "like" them but they are a necessary evil here. Stihl is all we use, 3 sizes of gas and 1 electric.

We were looking at into electric awhile back just a bit and talked to saw guru @joeymt33, he said go for it. He liked his. Wound up with Greenworks 80v because I was already buying the blower for Xmas for my wife. Got to say I much prefer the electric for a trail saw, by far more advantages. We do still have a couple big Huskys for the firewood at camp as we like big fires.
Like that blower and chainsaw enough that we just bought the 80v lawnmower as well and are very happy with that decision. Not exactly a “green” guy but they do work well for our applications.

Yes our saw is lightweight and pretty strong, the battery also fits our blower and weed eater. They all work great but I Stihl feel like the gas is stronger.

Lol. Well ya I definitely didn’t say it has the power of our gas. It’s comparable to small gas I think. Just easier to carry, maintain, and use for trail use. We haven’t broke it yet believe it or not

The thing about the blower, which is used the most, is the battery doesn't last very long. We got two batteries but it's a pain in the butt to have to stop and swap. I can see where the saw would be handy on the trail.

Don't know about a small saw of any kind after last Saturday, went riding with @Razorback , we were a a trail almost to the top, where you know there was a road, we were exploring, but any how, came up to a 20 inch tree that had fallen recently too low for us to go under or around, wish I would have had Harriet with me, she's a 70 cc, w/ 24 inch bar, we would have passed faster than a cat can lick it's butt! HA!

We’re about 30-45 minutes on a charge in any of the items. Yard takes two batts on mower. But they charge in 25 so that could be unlimited. Saw will cut a ton of crap in that time, we’ve even done smaller weekend camp fire, still larger then many people I believe a couple times. I’m impressed so far
