The seals on the drum aren't very effective, to be honest. May be packed with mud/ dirt. Has one of those self ajusting struts between the shoes like the rear of many Asian econboxes. Sometimes gets stuck (though that won't make it drag). They will also get water in and freeze the wheel up in the winter.
Still my favorite vehicles. Once I sold my Wrangler and motorcycle, life began to decline...
The rock lites are quality also. Very surprised the light housings are metal.

We were impressed when we rode at night at RUSH Springs. You could not see the headlights of the rig up in front of you through the trees. But the whips you could see the leader way down the switchback trails.
