Hand gun mount for Talon

Has anyone found a good place to carry a pistol in a Talon? The best solution would be a lockable waterproof box that doesn’t take up any foot well space, and is theft proof. With storage space at a premium, the only place I can think of is the glovebox. Any other suggestions?

I think there's room under the driver's seat for a bedside bio case but they're unlikely waterproof. I have a shoulder holster I'll probably use when I start carrying on rides.

Instead of a handgun I opted to carry a 12g shockwave,, it has a 14 inch barrel and 26'' overall length. I stand it up next to the passenger grab bar and loop the sling around the left grab bar, it rides there nicely and gives me good access. I also have a full Auto Reising 45acp that I carry the same way when I want a pistol round instead. Since it is a sub gun it is short and fits well in the same place.

i used a uncle mikes nylon holster with a metal belt clip. drilled a hole thru the clip and mounted on the right hand side of the steering column, there is a factory bolt. out of sight, use a Glock, no worries about water,mud i will send a pic.

I just carry OWB, have it on me at all times.
