Hello everyone!

First I would like to start off by apologizing for the delay on putting the harness bars back into production.

As some of you may have heard we are going into production on these today and are now accepting orders on them. ( Honda Pioneer 1000-5/1000-3 One Piece Bolt On Harness Bar )

Please allow up to 2 weeks to ship as we are going to do them in a production run.

The price has changes to $199 but that that also includes free shipping.

Thanks again everyone for the support!

These are getting done quicker than I had anticipated! We had a solid day yesterday! We'll be off to powder coat today no problem!
Awesome!
Do you model everything?
What software?
SW? Autocad? Bendtech? Tubecad pro?

For our cage builds we model with solid works and bend tech. These were only modeled on the 1st 2 end bends and the rest was manually figured due to the tight bends and offsets ect. its a 6 op part believe it or not lol. cold saw, bender, upright band saw, bender, manual mill, welder

I dont think this would work for a small child. I think you would have to add a headrest to this bar to keep a small passenger from hitting there head. If your talking forward facing carseat, this would be a great spot to tether the top of the seat.

You would definitely want a booster seat of some sort to get their shoulders level with the bar or slightly below.
There is a science behind proper harness installation. I would personally be a bit hesitant to put a child into a harness that I installed myself. Unless I spent a few hours going thru the science and fitting it properly.
My body, well, it's mine, what I do to it is my fault, but to unintentionally hurt a child, I don't think I could do it.
I don't think Honda designed the center seat for a child, but I bet it passed thru their mind. I would lean towards using the stock seatbelt. As well as the proper booster seat or car seat you would use in your daily driver to transport your child.

Def adding a headrest, just not sure how big the kid will need to be for the harness to work correctly if I were to use it there. Right now theres an old carseat I use.

Very nice

Thanks bud. I pretty much just painted it. I didn’t trust my welding and fitting enough to put my family in it so I recruited the best help I could. Probably better than any hired shop would have done. The added pieces are much thicker wall and all the OEM tube was sleeved with pipe inside. It may be a little heavy but I’m comfortable with it.

Back on topic, sorry guys. But at least we are still talking safety.

A junior harness is a great idea. It won’t work for kids too small for the proper fitment in the harness though. If the child is big enough to fit the harness then use it. If not, put them in a car seat. These harness bars above should be a great addition.

Here’s a pic of the oldest in the harness and the youngest in the car seat.
