Just wondering if the OEM retraction belt / device could be used as a single anchor point for the harness shoulder straps?

I think all you 500 guys need to band together again and get @Moses to build a bolt in bar like he has on the 1000.

I would be concerned about that. The shoulder straps wouldn't hold the body correctly. They would pull your torso to the side I would think.

Could you not keep it in the hauler?
I could, but that's just a pain to do. Especially when wife has the garage setup as a dinner table or for guests.
Leaving it outside doesn't bother me at all.

I mounted it thru the 1x1 frame the seat sits on. I am not confident it is the "right" way though.
I bought some eyebolts and mounted them thru the frame.
Then I changed the bolt in mount on sub belt to a clip in and clipped it on the eyebolt.

I still need to find a small cotter pin for the gate to lock it closed. Next time I am in town, i'll hit the hardware store.
