I need a good phone holder so I can start using my phone for something other then Bluetooth shoved in the glovebox. Do you or anyone know of something reasonably solid that works with 6+ in a Lifeproof

It's a little unconventional but I use SlipGrip mounts which are MADE IN THE USA!! And they are sturdy for the small iPhone 10s. It's unconventional because it has one screw threw the middle into the dash. The dash screw already exists in my vehicle because it holds the oem switch panel. But anyone could out s screw in the dash with a nut on the back side.

There are better options out there like the RAM and others but I had this suction cup mount and wasn't using it. I'm very satisfied.

I kinda figured you did. The 10 needs to be protected for a few years yet. Awesome I'll look that up. I wanted something to mount to the ROPS so I can video with the stabilization from our phones but haven't found anything so at this point. I had a cheesy bar mount on the 700 but it vibrated enough it made you sick to watch the videos. I guess as long as it's locked in over the bumps and it doesn't cost a ton I'll just do it.

Guy on Wolverine thread worried me a tad last night...
He said he had a P700-4 and when he had 4 adults in it the Pioneer would not pull a hill unless the back passengers got out.
Is this the case for all or just ones that may have baffle issue, larger tires, etc...?

There were a couple very steep hills I struggled with a little in the 700 but I'm talking pretty steep. Usually from what I saw with the 700 was that you had to get the r's up just a tad. Say a hill it would struggle at 5mph it would do without issue at 7, more or less that type thing. In my opinion I wouldn't put larger tires on one because that would exasperate that. The 700 is not a power house but it does have a good amount of torque you just have to keep the rev up a little at times. My wife and I pulled a good size pop up trailer with 4 of us for a long distance several times with ours. Wasn't super fast but didn't seem to care. We did opt for the 1000 but had the 1000 not come out we were happy. I don't know if this helps you or not.

Yeh, it does. I am going to hold to see what '17 brings if anything for Honda. I saw where Yamaha is releasing their new model '17's June 8th.

One more question, do you guys drive truck and trailer to where you ride or do you get there from private residences? Just curious if this is restricted land or not.

Check out the X-grip. I have two (one in the boat, and one in the SxS). They are steady and Ram Mounts makes a clamp on mount for the ROPS
