It’s time for new tires. I currently have 29” bighorns that are worn out. I’m gonna keep it at 28” in size and I have factory wheels.
28/10/14 STI Roctane x2 10 ply
28/9/14 and 28/11/14 ITP Blackwater EVO
28/10/14 Quadboss QBT 846

Y’all help me decide for the best all around tire out of these.

I added to poll to help you track the responses.

Best all around tire would be the QBT846 in my opinion.

One more thought, if you go with the Blackwater EVOs, get 10” wide for the front and 11” for the back. No real reason to get the 9” I don’t think.

Would a 28/10 all the way around look different in the rear? Since the rear wheels are wider?

You probably couldn’t tell a difference. I’m sure there are pictures of someone that has done it before forum somewhere

No. The tread is definitely less aggressive so they don't bog the machine down.

I'm thinking about quadboss 846 in 27x11x14 and 27x9x14 Front/Rear. I read a review on the 28's that said they measure 27" tall. Is that true? If so I'll go with the 28 and forget the 27's. My original Bighorns with 1500 miles on them measure 26.25 front and 26.625 rear.

And they will fit ok on stock Deluxe wheels right?

They fit on stock wheels. They definitely fit better on stock front wheels than rears. They are a bit on the narrow side for an 8" wide wheel. They are kinda wide for the front 6.5" wide wheel too. They are a better fit on aftermarket 14x7 wheels.

Thanks Todd. That said, I may just stay with the stock size QB846 this time. I really like the stance/look of your machine, I prefer a just little more square tire than the Terrabite/Mongrel style.

Tires arrived from amazon. Got wheels off, went to shop for install. I feel like they got me on the install..... hundo bucks to mount and keep oldies. That's almost enough to try it by hand. New tires look great, we got a parade this weekend so they're first look at life will be pavement. One reason I went terrabite was DOT rating. Around here they give you a permit then say you can't drive on trails. But it's not street legal either....

Todd,
Just ordered the QB846 28x10's and putting them on stock Deluxe wheels. Amazon $522.40. I'll report back after installed. Thanks for your input.
