P700 Help please shifting problem

You could be 180 degree out on "overlap".

Try spinning the engine until the "T" lines up again and recheck, theres no reason that they would be tight.

Good point, intake vs exhaust stroke makes a difference.

Check your oil per the instructions in the users manual first, these 700’s can get a little quirky on oil level alone.

I’m afraid mine is the camshaft going out. What is yours doing?
