P1000 Hitch strength

Is the hitch considered strong enough to jack up the rear of the unit or is it imperative to use the location spelled out in the book? What about if your bottomed out and cant get a jack under it?

It hasn’t stopped me from winching up the rear and essentially hanging the whole pioneer from the hitch….

No, but that’s how some put on their skid plates, by either front or rear hanging.

Wow so it must be pretty stout. I was lookin at pics and noticed that the hitch on the 22 looks different than prior years.

I lifted the back of my 22 with a floor jack under the hitch point when I swapped Shocks. Doesn’t seem to have had any negative effects.
