  1. Looking to buy
I’m ordering everything for the addition of the second battery and all the typical other additions that go with it when I take delivery of my 1000-6 next week. The only thing I haven’t found referenced is what everyone is using for a hold down for the new second battery?

Thanks in advance!

Eric

Another welcome from Michigan. I've posted mine three times on the forums (two times too many, I suppose):

Welcome from right here. Just remember, we're all here 'cause we're not all there.

Gravity will hold your battery down, until such time as down is up. Then, if all you've been depending on is gravity, the battery could shift its position, possibly shorting on something in the process, and thus provide a handy source ignition for the fire you just started. There's reason car batteries are secured well - they sometimes go upside down too.

I used webbing and a plastic buckle. Works pretty well and is easy.

I wedged in some Styrofoam and it holds it in place very well.
