Yea I actually did not want to cut into the black air box cover either (I don't know why) but I ordered a new one for like $10 yesterday so I am going to chop up my current one now - that way the relays can be covered and I have a little more space to work with

Just picked up a 2016 P1000-5 about 3 weeks ago. Got a 1/2 windshield, Bimini top and rear drink holders and some billet mirrors ordered. This stuff is just as costly as Harley stuff

Welcome to the club - I am not sure if it stops lol - I have too many project going at this one time now... need to finish my wiring before I start looking at shocks - well let me rewind that - before I purchase them.

It is fun though - I am riding my Honda more than I though I would, over rougher terrain than I thought I would and meeting some good people.

I think part of the fun is installing everything and tinkering with your ride. I think my Honda will have a nicer stereo than my truck when I am done lol

Honestly it just looks like you replaced the springs - that or It could be possible that they always were red...

So have you driven it anywhere yet to test them out... that would be my issue I would have to take off the rest of the day to go function test.

Then again she might notice the new tires and wheels vs the shocks or one might distract from the other or if she says anything about the shocks just say she probably never noticed them before but the tires and wheels you got from @nbomar seem to complement and call out the shocks more.
