Not sure whom your addressing, but I don’t have any left.Sir, I have a 1000-5 and would need 4 bushings. Are these still available? If so I would send you a check in the mail for what they cost. Thanks John
If no one else chimes in, I’ll make you a set. They won’t be as pretty as the parts turned out by CNC but will work just the same, considering you can’t see them anyhow.Sir, I have a 1000-5 and would need 4 bushings. Are these still available? All the free ones are gone but if you have a drill and a saw you can make a set for under $10.Sir, I have a 1000-5 and would need 4 bushings. Are these still available? If so I would send you a check in the mail for what they cost. Thanks John
That’s very cool, also it appears that @Tramguage1 is going to be handing some sets out at Takeover! If no one else chimes in, I’ll make you a set. They won’t be as pretty as the parts turned out by CNC but will work just the same, considering you can’t see them anyhow.
I don’t recall seeing any pricing on these but would do up a set for $50 shipped.
I believe both are discussed multiple times in this thread if you look back thru it.Do you know where I can get the material and how to make them. Thanks John
Btw, unless your only doing the front doors, you’ll need 8 bushings.Sir, I have a 1000-5 and would need 4 bushings. Are these still available? If so I would send you a check in the mail for what they cost. Thanks John
Start at post #25Do you know where I can get the material and how to make them. Thanks John
Let me know when you make them. Ill need them for all 4 doors. Ill pay you. JohnI made a set for a friend of mine a couple of weeks ago. Here's what I bought from Amazon and its enough to do both front doors. To do a whole 1000-5 you'll need two sticks. The bushings are cut to 2 3/8" with a 5/16" center hole. I'm a machinist by trade and if you need some help let me know. I'm picking up a 1000-5 today for myself so I'm sure in a couple of weeks I'll be making some for my own rig.

Sweet! Can I use this for my patent application?Had to do a drawing of one of these for my machinist to make for me. Thought since I got the idea for free, I would give the drawing for free as well for anyone else in the same boat. Cheers

I put gas line on my latches right before takeover....why in the hell it took me 3 years to do that indont know. Finally got around to adding the RB3 bushings that I won at the takeover to the front doors. I ordered the 1" rod from Amazon posted above. Got those cut and drilled and installed today as well. Also replaced the duck tape I had on the bed latches with rubber gas line. So as of now I am squeak free!!!!
