It's plexiglass had to put a bend in it so I used Plexi. It's powder coated I helped a buddy build a oven for powder coating his 450r frames he was building for racing. So he lets me use it whenever I need to. wish it was big enough to do my top I need to get that done someday.

From what I can see you did a good job on your top also. I did see the simple good mounting brackets that you came up with. Seems like when doors are shut the door is pushing against your brackets holding the door frame on firmly. Great idea. That's the best doors I have seen. What do you have on the back? I did not notice

Just a factory vinyl with zipper going to make it hard also when I get time. Got to give my boat a little attention want to build some stuff for it before I go to lake Enid in march. I have spent all winter working on the pioneer now I'm behind on everything lol.

That sounds like a lot of fun. Wish I had more time down there we only fish 3 days on Enid before I got to return home. I have caught several monster catfish I live on the Mississippi River but never got ahold of a big bass

What kinda fish are you fishing for at Enid? I got a small pond behind my barn I dug for my horses about 11 years ago. I caught 3 nice bass this last summer one around 7 pounds one about 8 one about 11. The state lake calling panther they predict the state bass will be caught there so fair they have caught a bass over 13lbs.

I live not to far from the Mississippi River also but I don't fish that river way to big here. I fish the Pearl river which flows into the Mississippi

Very nice job @Beajay, so it looks like you didn't physically attach the upper door to the bottom door? is it just a "friction"fit going on there? I want to make some full doors for my 700, seeing yours makes me want to get started

If you look at the inside picture the bracket on the left of the door handle clamps it on there so it will stay right with the door when you open and close it. I'm going to put stainless wing nuts on there so I don't need a wrench to take it off just loosen two nuts and it pulls straight up. The hardest part was getting the hinge perfectly aligned with the bottom ones so the top swings exactly the same as the bottom.

Excellent job on the doors, and as mentioned earlier, looks like an equally impressive job on the top as well. Need to finish my shop so I can get to work on some mods of my own!! With craftsmanship like that, if you get into a production routine, I think it would be fair to say you'd sell a few on this site!!!
