Talon Honda Talon Delivery Pushbacks???

Several sources all confirm Honda is pushing back delivery dates due to manufacturing issues and other concerns.

Timelines given range from 1 to 2 months delay. The exact reason is unclear but we know HSC has been working double time to being this super hyped machine to the market as fast as they can.

Honda is advertising this unit as one of the most durable machines on the market. With such a claim, they cant afford to have any issues.

Dealers should be getting updates on deliveries in the next 2 weeks.

My GM called out sales manager today and said the exact opposite.

Japan wants these things in dealerships the 1st week of march, but alot of logistical things are together yet. Parts fiche, service manuals, etc are still being etched out.

He did mention their pushing hard for a 1 to 2 week delivery advance. So possibly we could see 1 the 3rd week of March instead of the 1st week of April.

I just checked and it is still showing ours having a delivery date of the first week in April.

Edit: We did get setup instructions today. Which is really early for an April release, unless their just trying to get a head start.

My GM said a dealer he talked to is suppose to be getting theirs next week. Our delivery dates haven't changed from the 1st week of April.

Talons are showing up at dealers. Manuals and Parts Fische showing up as well online. Obviously, deliveries will be dribs and drabs at first, but all signs are proving positive for living life side by side in the near future
