That dealer I just linked too (bigstcharlesmotorsports.com) I think has pretty decent prices. That is where I got my second 1000-5 base model 2017. It was 14000 including a set of Honda oem led headlights and the oem hard roof. And it wasn't a left over, it was at the beginning of 2017 summer. Only fee was like 79$ admin fee, which was actually refunded as a gift card later.

I went and test drove a '19 YXZ today. Not a bad machine. Lots of upgrades to the '19 model and they will probably have a hard time clearing out the older models without big discounts.

About the best prices, closest to you will be from Abernathy's out of Union City TN near Nashville. It's a ways but people drive there from as far as AZ regularly to save a couple of thousand on a new machine. They sell an average of 30 SXS per day in spring and summer. Never plan on going on a Saturday it's a madhouse with them trying to get 50 units out the doors to customers. They will usually discount accessories 20% and install them or free when bought with new machine purchase.

Example here is a P1K5LE at $4200+ off MSRP.

Or over $3700 off a P1K5D.

The top end machines make up a small % of actual sales but bring people to look. Big top retailer used to have the policy of having expensive guns in their gun case a the stores... they sold very few and the sales did not warrant the space devoted... but they sold a lot of cheaper guns to people who came to look at the expensive ones. ... that is hard to accurately measure. Down the road a flagship Talon might not sell a ton of units itself but it will increase brand sales

Does this dealership add any fees or destination charges.

At those prices I guess I couldn't really tell ya? I just know on mine they did not. I looked around for prices then called them and offered 14k for a base 1000-5 with oem led headlights and oem hard roof. The guy put me on hold for like 30 seconds came back and said deal. I paid 14k plus a $79 admin fee. The fee was later refunded as a gift card due to some technicality with the wording on their contract form and a class action suit lol. In hindsight I'm sure I could have gotten it cheaper, but that was the same price I had just sold my 2016 1000-5 for so I thought it was a deal.

It is bigstcharlesmotorsports.com

In st.louis MO. Look at their clearance inventory. I check it on occasion just to make sure I'm not missing out on something I don't need haha. They have every brand I think.

if i could have gotten a 1000 for 14 i would have, but all the jap dealers have a bunch of fees too, the 700 was 10 but over 12 really. i also bought the rhino at a huge place no tax or fees, 800 to ship 1400 miles, never had to pay tax utvs here are considered farm vehicles that dont have to be registered. when i bought around here had to pay it anyway. the can am was the only decent deal i got a few grand off, no setup, they are a big place that sells bikes and commercial mowers and isnt trying to make up all there months rent on one sale like the jap dealers around here

Well, here’s the news I got today from my Dealer.... I was on their website and they had the Talon listed and a “Click for Quote” button. Clicked and a sales rep contacted me shortly with the pricing.... The R msrp is $20,999 and the X msrp is $19,999. He said he could probably do better but as for now that’s all he has to go off of...... I’m hoping a 4 seater will soon follow and figure they’ll be 2-3k higher each?

I'd love to see them $15k-$17k mark. But, realistically, I'd bet that with the i-4wd and high end suspension package, plus the hunger for this new machine by us Honda fanatics, MSRP will be very close to $20k if not over.

My Guess

MSRP-
1000X - $20,499
1000R - $21,899

Sadly enough, I was pretty close....

still don't think I will ever see one, out of the dealer, only seen two pioneers, one was checking power lines, and a 500 the guy bought for hunting and plowing. kinda doubt they would even order one for eye candy, the one that is Yamaha too had the yxz out there every time I went by there for two or three years, then you see it for about 5k off and its finally gone
