Just thought I'd start a fresh thread for this so I can update periodically. After 3 years of abuse my Honda signature series windshield was scratched beyond help. I decided to cut out a section of the polycarbonate approx 19.5" x 34.5". I had a piece of 6mm laminated safety glass cut at 21" x 36" and glued it over the hole with urethane and a few mirror clips to aid in clamping. After curing for, 24 hrs I put it on and went to deer camp. I absolutely love it! Well worth the $150 it cost me for the glass and glue! It's clear, I can scrape ice off, it doesn't scratch and did I mention it's clear! My hand operated wiper and a squirt bottle full of washer fluid worked great too.
We had a snow storm, and the trees were all bent over the trails and the glass took a ton of abuse from icy branches without a hiccup.
