After clogging up a few threads ( sorry @moparornocar) with some pet photos, I figured we had enough animal folks here that a pet thread in the off topic section might be appropriate.

So I'll start ...

Meet Chief (full name of Chief Ouray - named after the famous Chief of the Ute Indian tribe who promoted peace). Chief is a full blooded Manx with no tail (naturally). He's a big boy at 17 pounds, but his dad was 29 pounds. He now lives the life I wouldn't mind having ... he gets fed, somebody cleans up after him, and he has his own screened in porch (of my two indoor cats he is the only one that has figured out the cat door)

we have 2 dogs that are our (Scrappy- lab beagle and Gunner- mix of who knows). We foster dogs almost non-stop. I think we have had 21 foster dogs since last November.

This video has 2 of the neighbor dogs, the puppy (which was a foster at the time) and 1of our dogs.

Okay I lied cause I do have couple pics on my phone lol. First is Tommy our premmie Juliana pig. We are bottle feeding him.

Next is my daughter with her kitten Pumpkin.

And lastly is our back door with 13 kittens to be named at a later date. Yeah we are cat people.

This was buddy and Stella.. they've since been relived of duty and Gus now takes the job as family protector and pet.

Next up, Monk (short for Monkey Faced Boy Cat). Long story, but she's a rescue that my ex girlfriend and I tried to find a home for ... turned out to be my home. Chief is entirely confused by this tail thing that Monk has.





And a few weeks ago I was unable to towel off after a shower ... best bed ever apparently.

Dipper is a Boxer mix and Luna is a Rottweiler mix. Both rescues.

My daughter wanted to share her pet "Rider"

Not pets, but I claim them. These two majestic birds sit in this tree in my yard every day from about November through April when they start nesting. The nest is about 1/4 mile from my house about 20 feet off the road I live on.

The tree they sit in rally needs to come down as it is a threat to the house and is hollow, but I cannot bring myself to do it.

There is a third, immature one that will sit in this tree as well but I don't have a good picture.

In the spring when I come around the corner, I can see them in the tree.

I'm a cat person! I love them. Just don't keep any as pets. But they're not real fond of me.
