IMG 3316 Im curious what mileage everyone is getting up to. I'm at 5k with no problems and running better now than when new. Also have not had a valve adjustment done yet, engine is very quite. Running Rotella T6 synthetic 5w40, super oil!

Jeez, almost embarrassed to say only 1600 miles, runs perfect. Honda GN4 10w30, no valves yet either.

Your embarrassed? Mine has 45 miles on it in 6 months. We built a house and there is so much work to do that play time is sparse. Also have 2 bikes sitting in the garage that haven't been started this year. Now that is embarrassing

over 8,600 now and nothing broke. Would have a lot more miles but have 4 Pioneers and a 2016 Yamaha YXZ with over 12,400 on it. I do long rides nearly everyday. Life is good. Retirement is wonderful. Had to replace the water pump seal on the YXZ at about 6,000 miles. I just hate belt drive. We should have Sport models from Honda next year and maybe another one from Yamaha too.

1500 in 1st year. All GN4 no valve job. Split CV boot and bent tie rod both my fault. I'm happy

I've had snowmobiles since the late 60's, had a dealership for a few years, raced them also, mostly enduro races. Now it's become so dangerous on our trails with the HP that these machines have and put an idiot on one with a few beers and thats an accident looking for a place to happen. After two bad accidents and many broken bones, I just don't feel safe out on the trails in the winter so now I explore the back country on a Yamaha Grizzly with tracks, can't stop it.

Shell Rotella T6 is a heavy duty engine oil with lots of additives for high temps and approved for wet clutchs. Read the reviews from high rpm road bikes that use it. Also inexpensive at Walmart with rebates.
That's all I ran in my Ranger 570. 7,000 rpm all day long no problems. 7,500 trouble free miles. Nice to hear it's approved for wet clutches! Didn't know that. Thx!

Meh... You're fine. Today's lubricants, which have become a science in themselves, combined with perfectly calibrated fuel/air ratios won't contaminate your crankcase in short order like in the old days. No harm to that masterpiece of an engine you have!
