P1000 How many miles on your P1K

I'm at 3000k. Tried amsoil but on 3rd clutch now other then that it's great

If you don't mind me asking...Does your dealer know you used Amsoil and did they try to blame Amsoil oil for the clutch failures?

I have heard amsoil is one of the best out there? Maybe not for Pioneer's, they used to use rattlesnake pee in the covered wagons., hehe

I went with Amsoil 0w40 on my second oil change with Dealer approval, great oil but I felt that it was a little thin in hot weather, engine would get a little noisy, then the next oil change I went with the Rotella T6 5w40, engine quieted down and ran smoother, I've ran that oil now for over 3000 miles with no problems, no clutch slippage.

On your pioneer. I only have 2500 on my Honda pioneer 1000 -5. I have only used Honda oil GN4 10 w-30 with no problems.

Yes the dealer installed amsoil when they did the clutch

The dealer ordered the clutch update parts in for me, once they come in I will have the update done

I have just over 3000k. Took it moose hunting. Had an issue where it would work for about 2 seconds under load then just rev up I would wait about 5 seconds then it would go again so I stayed on the roads only. Did not feel like walking

I really like the LE. It's a 3 seat one. The Fox shocks work really well and would recommend them to anyone.
