I have 26" x 9" x 12" on the front and 26" x 11" x12 on the back. They are Bighorns 2.0 on stock wheels. I also have 1 1/2" wheel spacers all the way around. Seeing all the threads about folks tipping over on the trail has me thinking about installing 2' or thicker spacers for more stability.
What is considered the maximum width a person can widen the 500 with spacers and not damage other components? I don't want to change any A arms or suspension parts. Would appreciate your thoughts.

I ran 2” spacers all around on my P5 stock rims.

My P520 is roughly 54" wide and has been since 5 days after purchase. I'm planning on getting a little narrower than that for 50" trails that I want to run in the future. No way I will get back to 50" though, will be somewhere around 51.5-52". And I will just know to take it easy on the trails that might cause issues.

I have 2 inch spacers on the front and have 3 inch spacers (two 1 1/2 inch) on the back. Put them on shortly after I bought my 2017 new and have about 1500 miles on it now driven mostly around Moab and have had no problems, yet anyway. It is so much more stable than stock form. I run stock rims with Bighorn tires one size larger than stock.
