Has anybody created or purchased a hydraulic or electric bed lift for a Pioneer 1000-5. I find it extremely hard to dump with more than a little weight in the bed..

Before I bought a tractor and using our P1 for everything, I would load the rear of bed heavier than the front with the tail gate down and didn't have issues with dumping.

I did this mod on mine, used it to dump two loads of wet leaves, logs, rock last weekend, no idea total weight. Tailgate down, just loaded it up until it was falling out, backed it into position and pulled the lever, dumped like a coffee in the morning after a Vegas buffet... The dump bed is harder to lower back down into the latched position, but not that bad and this is the only difference when doing this mod, at least to me. Dumps with authority though with the mod and you can hear and see the difference. Easy button, 50 or 60 bucks and about 10 minutes to do. I like. Highly recommend. 2022 Pioneer 1000/5 one of my first few mods. No pics because I dont take pics when I dump.

I've devised a not so easy way to dump the bed material. I bought it at the hardware store several years ago. I try not to use a lot but it does work and saves my back of trying to llift up the bed manually. I've included a picture of the tool used.
