Went to get a first hand look at the sway bar ..... I assume that is it, located in front of the rear end, between the frame and the drive shaft. What is the best way to get to it? Remove the skidplate, or come in from the top. It looked like it is connected to some kinda small 'arm' that has 4 eyes/dots on the back side of it. Does that come off also?

Don’t have a pic on hand but it looks like this. This is from a Honda Rincon but very close.
If you take the two end off you can flip it up for testing. 14mm I believe on each side?

Just removed mine last week, it’s easier to remove it when you have the tires off and the shocks out. You can do it with the shocks in but a new vocabulary in the queens English will be learned lol. But yes either way will work.

I used a sawzall with a carbide blade to cut the end off and pull it off after being ziptied up for 2000 miles.

A couple weeks ago, I was in Utah at Moab, a lot of the RZR guys have come up with another solution to this issue. They've added a short shock absorber to each side of the sway bar. The shock is only about 5" tall. Supposed to be best of both worlds.
I undid mine right after I bought it because I don't do any high speed stuff, all rock crawling slow technical stuff.

It is from walker evans racing.

The link on the P1 isn't that long, just take it all off like skinny dipping. And you will feel free. :)
As long as there’s clearance which I believe there is it would still work.
Intriguing and I understand the idea however it would be more of an in between thing. I guess ok for people worried about pulling the bar

My brother has a RZR and has these, really have reservations about it working on a P1. Unless you can get a different sway bar. I don't miss mine at all, but I'm not doing 40 mph on dirt roads.I take the slow trails, and go as fast as I can, HA!

I prefer the rough stuff too and it’s so much better without! Even high speed I could care less without swaybar you just have to set the rig up before the corner.

And Fox shocks can eliminate the loose feel from the missing sway bar... so whatbthe point?
Not eliminate it but it does help.

I don’t notice my sway bar being gone at high speed blacktop with a firm setting, lift and preload adjustments.
If you have slow speed compression adjustment and you know you will be on dirt roads, just crank the slow seed down a couple of clicks, get back on the trails adjust back.

That’s why I went with Fox for the ease of adjustment. They’re JTW proof!

Time will tell, HA! Good shocks are worth every penny, I got a buddy thats going to run my stockers on his 700, I feel guilty letting him use them, the front stock shocks get overwhelmed quickly if you add winch and bumper on the P1.
