I Ditched the Wait

I've had a white 1000-5 deluxe on order since the first week of April. It's due in June 29th. Last night, I cheated the system and landed a red 2019 deluxe purchase with a boatload of accessories. I got it home last night at about 1:30am from 200 miles away. Today, I took it on its maiden voyage through town and across I-75 to get worms for the kids to go fishing tomorrow. I love Northern Michigan and my "new" Pioneer.

PS - I'll be calling the dealer Tuesday in Gaylord, MI to cancel my 2021 order if any of you are in the market and they don't have a waiting list (like that wouldn't happen).

You did good! Especially with all this installed already. Good choice because when June 29th comes along the dealer would probably tell you it's gonna be a couple more weeks.

I called the Honda dealer after the long weekend to cancel my white 2021 1000-5 Deluxe order. I'm not sure it's still available but if anyone wants to call the Honda shop in Gaylord, Michigan (231-732-4331, ask for Cyrus), they may still have one available with an arrival date of June 29th.
