I'm connecting some fang lights and they don't work. I checked the voltage and I don't get any power. Hopefully you guys could help me.

It's a 2023 honda talon 1000R-4 fox live valve

I'm attaching a picture of the plug I'm talking about

Have you checked the wires before they enter the plug? The plug may have a broken connection or you could have a fuse out.

Welcome from Michigan!

Sounds like you need to get power from a different source. I wouldnt advise getting it from there. If you dont have some sort of a switch plate with a fuse/relay set up or a second battery set up to get power for accessories from, I would recommend going to the club store and get set up. These rigs like clean power to run the daily working of the rig.

Also when u get a chance, post some FULL Pics of your rig. After all Its Rule #4😉

Hello_Darknees thank you I check the fuse box they all look good.
That plug in your picture, as well as the blue 2 pin plug near it and the accessory socket in the dash all get power from ACC1 fuse.

They should only have power when the key is on

Does your Accessory socket in the dash have power?

ACC1 is good. I do have power in the accessory socket the rear. I have not checked the front one. Maybe I'm just going to get a wiring harness. I would like to just use the OEM plug. Let me know your thoughts why that plug is not getting power. Thank you all for the help.

Polarity is reversed. This is a common issue. Pioneer 700 is the opposite for this same connector.
Match Red to white
and
Black to green.

Stand by for a video on how to repin your connector.

The rear accessory socket is power off ACC2 fuse, if the fuse is good and you have battery power on the fuse then it has to be a wiring problem.

Do the factory switches on the dash light up with the key on?
