Be careful about voltage only and assuming the battery is ok. It really should be load tested. You can have a battery that reads good voltage at rest, but have no working amps capacity.Thank you Neohio. Battery is over 13 v. This is an early model 2016. Speed is displaying correctly.
update: just found the red connector under the seat had come apart. Plugged it back in and still have same problem. I’m assuming I have to clear a code first?
You can truly know this by (very important to the diag and schematics) looking at and better yet, taking a pic and posting it if your having issues understanding it, of the data plate sticker on the ROPS. It has the build date model and i believe the vin. Basically what u look at to give your insurance and dealer for warranty work. Like when /if u did the clutch update campaign. This is an early model 2016.
Any honda sxs or atv will have the same plug. If the video showed a talon with the 2x2(4 pin) red plug, those are the wires you need to jump.Anyone know how to jumper the 2 wires in the red plug? I tried per the only Utube video but it was for a Talon.
Ok, I followed the guys directions but the light won’t go out. I’ll video it tomorrow morning and post it, thanks.Any honda sxs or atv will have the same plug. If the video showed a talon with the 2x2(4 pin) red plug, those are the wires you need to jump.
Then turn ignition on, film the flashes, upload to YouTube, share the link here and we can help diagnose it.
The light will not go out until the failure is fixed.Ok, I followed the guys directions but the light won’t go out. I’ll video it tomorrow morning and post it, thanks.
Well that’s the problem! How do I know what the failure is?The light will not go out until the failure is fixed.
When you jump the wires and turn the ignition on, the i4wd light will blink, counting the blinks will tell you the code.Well that’s the problem! How do I know what the failure is?
My i4wd light never blinks. Stays on steady as soon as the key is turned on.When you jump the wires and turn the ignition on, the i4wd light will blink, counting the blinks will tell you the code.
