Exactly!same. all the pine cones, twigs and sweetgum balls get chopped up in the first mowing.

mmm maybe, this way took @30 mins, master key to cut a few links to remove chain. Most time spent on floor jack and jack stands. Hoping it is just bent blade, just got out of services last week or soWouldn't it be easier to just take the blade off?

Maybe it was the chain whipping the ground. I bought a spare set of blades for mine and keep them sharpened and just change them every time I service the engine, every 50 hours. If you had a spare blade you could lay the suspected bent blade on top of it and compare.mmm maybe, this way took @30 mins, master key to cut a few links to remove chain. Another way to tell if the blade is bent without removing it would be to turn the mower off, safety 101 for liberals, then rotate the blade till the tip meets the adjoining blade and see how close they are vertically.
That sounds great, but I don't change mowers but about every 12-13 years.I've got this handy dandy John Deer blade measurement tool to adjust mowing heights for different mowers that you want to cut the same height. It was cheap, works great.
